Shout Out to Clark Flower & Gift Shop

Candy at Clark Book Signing  A huge shout out and thank you to Clark Flower and Gift Shop for a huge success with our book signing event.

Candace Woodland          Simonson and Barbara Woodland Clausen,Barb at Clark Book Signing - July 2015              sisters and natives of Clark, South Dakota, were pleased to have a sell-out event on July 3, 2015.  Clark Flower and Gift Shop did a wonderful job of promotion and publicity and even arranged for an interview by the Clark County Courier newspaper. “It’s good for us, and it’s good for the town,” said Melanie Smith, co-owner of the local business. Some drove forty miles and more to meet and greet the authors and purchase books. “That’s always a good feeling,” said Barbara.

Clark Flower and Gift Shop is family owned and operated by Melanie Smith and Linda Seefeldt. They have been in business since 1977 in a prime location directly off Clark FLower and GIfthighway 212 which travels through the small town of Clark. So much more than flowers and gifts, the store has a wedding registry for dinnerware and silver, Black Hills Gold jewelry, books, cards, collectibles, and specialized “Dakota Gift Packages” for those who want something unique from the area.

Candy’s novels, Love’s Journey Home and Love Looks Back, along with her anthology, A Quick Read, are now being carried by Clark Flower and Gift Shop, along with BJ Clausen’s poetry/art book, Musings.Clark Flower & Gift Shop
