Rock Band Roadie

Author C.A. Simonson

In the mid-1980s, CrossRoad Band traveled the state of Ohio playing in juvenile institutions and hard-core prisons. Venturing out as far as New Jersey, the rock gospel band performed rock and contemporary music, plus a few originals. This author was a keyboardist. Her husband played guitar, and her oldest son, the drums. Her youngest son ran the light show during music gigs.

At one music gig in the Ohio Penitentiary, an all-male maximum-security prison, a riot broke out during the concert. When the riot broke out, the women hid; the other musicians picked up their guitars as weapons. No one knew what would come next. Rock Band Roadie is a Christian thriller. Abduction, a prison break, police chases, and hidden lies.

This incident, along with a couple of other true events are recorded in Rock Band Roadie. Available now in print or digital at Amazon.com.
